Castlebooks is a book wholesale business specialising in selling quality remaindered books. Our goal is to hunt out the best in English language publishing. We travel the world in search for the hidden treasures of the publishing trade that are offered at low prices for any number of reasons. In any given year our searches will take us from Ferntree Gully here in Melbourne, to Cartersville, Georgia, to Oxfordshire, to the wilds of Canada, and many other places in between.
The world of remaindered books has much more to offer than books that have ceased selling. Market pressures occasionally force publishers to sell remaindered stock—even if it is only a few months old—in order to make room in their warehouses for new stock. That’s where we come in. At Castlebooks, we carefully select all of our books from publishers and wholesalers in Australia, UK, US and Canada, ranging from well known empires to tiny publishing houses.
With this astute buying, we are able to obtain books at very reasonable prices, enabling us to pass these savings on to you.
